IN MEMORIAM
Desperados Getaway "Desi"
2002 - 2007
True Arabian type and elegance coupled with flawless
conformation would best describe Desperados Getaway.  His large dark expressive eyes projected his intelligence and gentle spirit, demonstrated by his sucess as a Junior Western Pleasure horse.  His high set arching neck was made possible by an extremely well layered shoulder flowing into his strong topline and hip.  When it came to flawless feet and legs, coupled with clean quality bone, Desi was second to none!
His show-career had been very sucessful and was just beginning!   His sire, Thee Desperado, was Reserve National Champion Stallion and has been the leading sire of Egyptian horses for 10 years.  His dam was bred by the Imperial Egyptian Stud and her dam is the incomparable BB Ora Kalilah, dam of international champion Imperial Baarez.

On September 26, 2007, we lost "Desi" to a brief and as yet unknown illness.  Our hearts are broken and our spirits crushed.  We look now to the 8 foals expected by him in 2008.
